Community building

We believe that to share is to multiply. Bureau Wyser is involved in setting up and supporting social networks and communities (both online and offline) in international development cooperation.

In our view, cooperation is crucial in the fight for a more honest world. True cooperation is about getting to know each other, being open and honest, sharing knowledge and expertise and joining forces.

Would you like to know what Bureau Wyser can do for you with regard to social networks? Feel free to contact us or meet us at one of the many events we visit.

Some examples of social networks, where Bureau Wyser was or is involved:

Design, content and management of MyWorld Community. MyWorld is network for private initiatives in international development cooperation, with over 3,000 users. Users exchange experiences, have discussions about current topics, ask each other questions and help each other out (2011 - 2013)

Building a community of (small-scale) organisations active in the sustainable tourism in developing countries. The Café meets a growing demand: more and more people want to invest in financially feasible projects, instead of (merely) providing aid. At the same time, many regions in developing countries have potential for tourism. The Tourism Café provides a platform where both parties can meet (ongoing)

Organization of a series of conferences and coaching of Young Professionals with their proposals to improve development cooperation (2010)

What do our clients say?

"Bureau Wyser has delivered a great contribution to the design and content of the MyWorld platform for active world citizens. In the period from 2010 to 2012, we have pleasantly cooperated to set up and fill the platform with essential information for small scale development cooperation using wikis. Together we have managed to attract many people to the platform and initiated various discussions. To this day, MyWorld/NCDO relishes these results. The cooperation with Bureau Wyser was very professional and neutral but also very involved which resulted in excellent results. Nowadays, the platfor has more than 3,000 users from the Netherlands and abroad."
